High Fives and Chocolate Milk

High Fives and Chocolate Milk

By
Nathan Caleb Camerer

I’m not immune to kind words,
Especially when they’re true
I like nice things
Stroke my ego a wee bit
I’ll stroke your heart and soul a lot
When the corners of your mouth curl up,
Heaven
Especially if I’m the reason they did it
Cheese sells and I’ll sell it all day for you
Don’t stop giggling
It makes my heart smile
My soul hurts when your eyes leak
I’m about to walk 1,000 miles to fall down at your door
Give me water or give me wine
I’d drink poison for you
Call me “Bruno” and see what happens if a grenade gets thrown
The world is a Vampire,
But we hide in the sunlight
Swim out into the ocean
Watch the world burn,
From the fire we started in Santa Monica
High fives and chocolate milk,
With a side of Irish Coffee
Breakfast pizza for three,
But only if you want it
The corners of my mouth are curling up,
Especially when I think of you
I’m selling cheese and I hope you’re buying
Especially when I know you’re alone
High fives and chocolate milk,
With a side of hugs and kisses and a little butt squeeze
Just for you
Just for me

Especially when it makes the sides of your mouth curl up
